PokeBonk v0.8.62

4 changes in this release +
  • Metronome: moves that turned into a beam no longer get stuck; they keep changing every 30 seconds in every zone.
  • The Daily Mutation frames you've already earned now show up in the Frames tab of the avatar picker.
  • On a run's build card, the damage of each move no longer stops at the same cap in long runs: you'll see how much each one really did.
  • Sharper anti-cheat: fewer false positives with Gengar and in co-op, and the bots flooding the Desert leaderboard no longer get through.
v0.8.61
BalanceSeason & ranking

PokeBonk v0.8.61

15 changes in this release +
  • New mode: the Daily Mutation. Every day, a classic run with a different twist, the same for everyone: same map, same world and same mutation. Find it in the menu's first row, next to Survival.
  • Play with any League Pokémon you like and try as many times as you want: your best run of the day counts (how far you get, then your KOs). No Bag and no co-op.
  • Metronome (Nightmare): every 30 seconds one of your moves turns into a random one from the whole League, at the same level. Your first move and fusions never change.
  • Dynamax Wilds (Hard): wild Pokémon are twice as big with twice the HP; they hit 50% harder but move 15% slower. Bosses don't change.
  • Candy Fever (Hard): double experience and Pokédollars, but Pokémon get stronger 60% faster.
  • Glass (Normal): only a quarter of your HP, but all your damage is doubled.
  • The four take turns: each comes once every 4 days, never two days in a row, and moves to a new map each time. It changes at 00:00 UTC, and the screen shows the ones coming next.
  • A daily leaderboard for each mutation, plus yesterday's and the day before's. Stardust once a day: 60 for zone 2, 60 for zone 3, 60 for the sanctuary and 120 for winning (300 in total).
  • Prizes to keep in every mutation: its title for reaching zone 3, its avatar frame for reaching the sanctuary and its profile background for winning it. With all four backgrounds, the title King of Mutations.
  • Profile backgrounds, a new cosmetic: the picture behind your name on your trainer card. Pick it in the Backgrounds tab, next to avatar, frame and title.
  • You can feel the mutation in the run: a banner at the start of each zone, its medallion next to the top plate and, in Metronome, a countdown and every move swap shown big.
  • Slot machine: hold E (or the gamepad button) to spin non-stop. Prizes pile up in a tray and you see them all when you let go or run out of Pokédollars.
  • Leaderboard goals: once you reach the prize top you no longer jump from #50 to #25: you chase every rival, one by one (#50, #49, #48…).
  • When you catch a second shiny, you now tap the one you release, just like replacing an Alpha.
  • The Play button no longer gets cut off in the menu.
v0.8.60

PokeBonk v0.8.60

16 changes in this release +
  • Looks challenges now count in co-op: «win» is the team's victory and each challenge looks at what you do. Only the «taking at most N hits» ones stay solo. Runs you finish from now on count.
  • You can now bring your Bag to co-op: pick your items in the room, under the difficulty. They're only used up if the run starts.
  • The legendary's shiny roll is the same for the whole team: if one of you gets it, you all do.
  • Falling while a teammate's connection hiccups no longer ends the run.
  • If your team beats the guardian and the portal didn't show up for you, it now appears after a few seconds.
  • The «Ready» window no longer stays on top of the run, and the room connects better when the server is busy or the network is tricky.
  • New wallet at the top centre: your PokéDollars, bigger, and on the same line what the Poké Ball, the slot machine and refreshing Meowth cost right now. Each price turns green when you can afford it.
  • Goodbye to the «Calm / Dangerous…» meter under the clock: more room on screen.
  • Controller: L3 releases the fallen Alpha, Select shows the map without pausing, and the stick no longer drifts on its own.
  • Shinies: Venusaur no longer looks normal, and 14 nearly grey Pokémon (Geodude, Onix, Dewgong, Magnemite, Mewtwo…) get a shiny that really stands out.
  • Chinese or Japanese keyboard: if your input method blocks WASD, the game tells you how to switch it, and E and your attacks respond.
  • Android: the «back» gesture from the screen edge no longer pauses the run while you use the joystick, and the stick no longer gets stuck.
  • If the picture goes black with the interface still visible, the game tries to bring it back on its own.
  • Sound effects no longer vanish leaving only the music, and there are fewer volume spikes.
  • Light Screen looks like glass, not white squares.
  • The keyboard's skip track key no longer stops your Pokémon.
v0.8.59

PokeBonk v0.8.59

10 changes in this release +
  • The sanctuary's legendary shiny is no longer lost when you already have many shinies in the same run.
  • The Dawn Stone is no longer spent without a shiny: if you clear the first zone very fast, it shows up in the next one.
  • The no-evolving challenges (Charmander, Dratini) count your form when you beat the final boss, even if its experience evolves you afterwards. By a hair checks your HP when you beat it, so the berry it drops no longer takes it away.
  • Many attacks of the newest League Pokémon came out with another move's effect and sound (Thunder Cage with a pink moon). They look right now.
  • The game opens again on iPhone and iPad with iOS 15, which were stuck on «Retry».
  • Chansey can learn Transformation and Mimic at the same time to make Ditto's fusion.
  • On the rooftop of the Lavender Tower, the way-down stairs ask you to confirm before ending the run.
  • The summary of a co-op run reminds you that Looks challenges only count in solo.
  • View my team (Tab on level-up) also shows what each attack's level-up upgrades add up to.
  • Fewer honest runs sent to review: co-op, gold and long runs get more leeway.
v0.8.58
BalanceSeason & ranking

PokeBonk v0.8.58

5 changes in this release +
  • Clan season prizes: you no longer need 2% of the clan's total. 500 points and a quarter of the average of the members who scored is enough: if everyone contributes about the same, everyone gets it. In the Clan tab, "Your contribution" shows how many points you have and how many you need.
  • You can now change your password in Settings → Account. Changing it signs you out on your other devices.
  • Settings → Interface → Boss health: boss bars can show the percentage they have left instead of HP.
  • In the pause menu, Stats show how much a mega crit deals and make clear that crit damage has no cap.
  • In the Clan tab, Clan slots and Season prizes are no longer squashed; "From levels" says hits for melee attacks, and the Change button is better translated in English, Japanese and Korean.
v0.8.57

PokeBonk v0.8.57

2 changes in this release +
  • Solo runs now save even if your browser doesn't keep data (some tablets and apps): before, the server couldn't save them and their rewards and catches were lost.
  • In the Lab, every item you haven't unlocked yet says how many copies you can take into a run.
v0.8.56
BalanceFixesSeason & ranking

PokeBonk v0.8.56

8 changes in this release +
  • Much better clan rewards: each mission star gives up to 2,000 Stardust and a Bag item, and the third one a Bonkoin. Winning the rivalry gives 1,500 Stardust, 2 Bonkoins and a Master Ball.
  • Three clan avatar frames, each with its title: Clan Star, Unbeaten Rival and Legendary Clan. See them in the Clan tab.
  • The Aspect frames you own can be worn as your avatar frame.
  • The Shop tells you how many items fit in your Bag and how many you can still buy.
  • Attack cards show the minimum cooldown (0.12 s) and tell you when an attack cannot get any faster.
  • The Lickitung challenge asks for 7,000 HP healed in one run (it was 8,000).
  • A room no longer opens in the middle of a solo run, the same Pokémon can no longer be caught several times, the next map unlocks without remaking the room, and a teammate fainted in mid-air falls to the ground so you can revive them.
  • Fixed: the Korean keyboard (A/S/D), the Release button on mobile, the Golden Magikarp challenge, extra Bonkoins that dropped without being paid, and going back to Seen and Families in the Pokédex.
v0.8.55
Balance

PokeBonk v0.8.55

2 changes in this release +
  • Archive: every 2 items you unlock give you 1 more slot (up to 59). The Lab upgrade tells you how many you have and where they come from.
  • In the pause, each move shows what its level-up upgrades add up to (damage, cooldown, projectiles…).

PokeBonk v0.8.51

v0.8.47
BalanceFixesSeason & ranking

PokeBonk v0.8.47

22 changes in this release +
  • Fusions explained: every fusion says how it works (its parts: meteor, barrage, zone…) and what Area, Duration and Projectiles do to each part.
  • Search on the Pokémon selection screen: type its name or number.
  • After beating the guardian, an arrow and the minimap lead you to its Great Ball and then to the portal.
  • Shared map: what a teammate discovers (Poké Balls, altars, Ditto…) also shows up on your map.
  • Damage per player in the final summary and the pause menu.
  • Go to the Lab from the room without leaving the group, and come back with “Back to the room”.
  • If you go down just before the team takes the portal, the run no longer ends and you aren't left behind: you revive with them.
  • With a bad connection the team no longer splits across different zones, and the horde no longer pushes you out of an altar while you pick an upgrade.
  • Dark mode across the whole run: portrait, timer, items, moves, notices and boss bars.
  • “Your Team” is now called Favorites: they're your favorite Pokémon and change nothing in the run.
  • Only clan members can see the clan's Activity now.
  • Auto Ultimate shows AUTO on its medallion when it's on.
  • Mobile: Bill's Machine always shows “Not now”, and you can cancel a banish.
  • Low rocks can be jumped over, and rocks and trees don't trap you as much.
  • When you come back signed out, the game offers to sign in to your account instead of creating an empty guest.
  • Clan names accept more letters, the game remembers your language and the menu leaderboard remembers what you were looking at.
  • Closing the map with M no longer opens the pause menu, and “Continue” gets you back in the game on the first click.
  • The camera turns again after closing the shop or a menu, and keys no longer get stuck (the Pokémon that walked on its own).
  • Lavender Tower: floors no longer get stuck unfinished and you don't get trapped inside the boss.
  • The boss's Great Ball no longer lands under the portal, and Whirlpool no longer stops casting with lots of Duration.
  • In Survival runs over 6 hours you no longer become immortal, and huge numbers are readable.
  • The Meowth challenge counts all your money, plus fixes to the Shiny star, the slot machine in dark mode and the minimap arrow.
v0.8.46
Balance

PokeBonk v0.8.46

9 changes in this release +
  • Co-op: the classic experience is back. We removed last version's team mechanics: the seal barrier, the Wrath, the shifting weakness and the élites joined by a beam. Bosses and élites fight like in solo.
  • Co-op: the guardian attacks the whole team, wherever you are. Go after it together!
  • Co-op: the Gengar, cursed and Rhydon altars are free again: each player uses them whenever they want, no need to gather the team.
  • Co-op: while you choose in a menu you stay protected, but you no longer deal damage and the guardian goes after your teammates.
  • Co-op: enemies no longer switch players every moment: they only go after another one if they are much closer.
  • Co-op: Unown altars no longer lose their charge if you level up or open a menu inside the circle.
  • The damage per move in the end-of-run summary now adds up to the run's total damage.
  • The Spectral Look now shows in-game too, and long runs no longer offer locked or archived items.
  • If 3D won't start, the game tries another graphics card and tells you what to do.
v0.8.45

PokeBonk v0.8.45

8 changes in this release +
  • Co-op: the boss's HP bar no longer jumps; everyone sees the same.
  • Co-op: bosses have team mechanics. At 60% and 30% they raise a barrier that breaks with one player on each seal at once; their Wrath falls on everyone, they turn weak to a type of your team and they go for whoever hits them hardest.
  • Co-op: some elites come in pairs joined by a beam that heals them while they are together. Split them up!
  • Co-op: Gengar's altar, the cursed altar and Rhydon's are a team decision: gather everyone in their circle and they count for all.
  • Co-op: you have 1 minute to be revived, and you can invite a friend again without closing the room.
  • Co-op: pausing no longer makes you invulnerable, and altars no longer charge from inside the bubble.
  • The build plan no longer limits items: mark all your favourites.
